Meet The Attorney
Walter Grantham III
Walter Grantham III brings more than three decades of legal experience to every client he serves, with a career spanning personal injury litigation, estate planning, and probate administration across the Southeast.
Originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, Walter attended The Baylor School before earning his undergraduate degree from Auburn University. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, where he distinguished himself academically as a student editor for the American Journal for Trial Advocacy. During law school, he was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award for excellence in Product Liability and Administrative Law.
Walter is admitted to practice law in Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee, and he maintains active licensure in all three states—an uncommon credential that allows him to handle cross-border matters with ease. He practiced law in Chattanooga for 11 years before relocating to Marietta, Georgia in 2001, where he has continued to build long-standing relationships with clients throughout Cobb County and the greater Atlanta metro area.
Over the course of his career, Walter has developed broad legal experience, including work as a title agent handling residential real estate closings and serving as in-house litigation counsel for Peachtree Settlement Funding. For more than 35 years, he has advised individuals and families on probate, wills, and estate planning matters, and for the past decade, he has focused primarily on representing injury victims—helping them navigate complex claims and stand up to insurance companies.
Walter is admitted to practice before the state and appellate courts of Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee, as well as multiple federal courts, including the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Tennessee, the Northern District of Georgia, the Northern District of Alabama, and the Eastern District of Michigan.
Known for his personal approach and hands-on representation, Walter believes clients deserve direct access to an experienced attorney—not to be treated like a file number. His practice reflects a simple philosophy: combine deep legal knowledge with genuine care, clear communication, and unwavering advocacy.
